Iconic Tabletop brand Wedgwood Celebrates British Heritage through BritWeek Partnership

LOS ANGELES — Wedgwood, the brand with a rich history of producing luxury tabletop, has announced its partnership with BritWeek 2013 in Los Angeles. The Wedgwood brand will be a key feature of the Red Carpet Launch, BritWeek’s signature reception that begins the two weeks of events highlighting British contributions to California.

“Wedgwood was a natural partner for BritWeek and we are delighted to be working together,” said Lauren Stone, BritWeek Executive Director. “BritWeek celebrates British innovation and creativity, which are cornerstones of the Wedgwood brand. At the heart of this luxury brand is the art of hospitality — Wedgwood truly understands the importance of entertaining with style, whether it is with your loved one at home or with hundreds of people at the BritWeek Red Carpet Launch.”

Wedgwood manufactures quality ceramics combining sophisticated classical contemporary design with highly skilled craftsmanship and the highest standards of quality. Wedgwood is quintessentially English and has a tradition of innovation, quality and craftsmanship. Wedgwood designs are widely acknowledged as timeless, elegant, classic and understated.

“BritWeek has developed a strong reputation in its ability to showcase a considerable cross section of British brands and culture. California provides a magnificent back drop for the activities and participation, and draws the local community and visitors together,” said Lord Wedgwood. “I am delighted that Wedgwood has joined the family of partners for BritWeek, and amongst other events, will play a role in the launch festivities.”

The BritWeek Red Carpet Launch kicks off two weeks of events in Los Angeles that highlights the incredible contribution of the UK here in California, including events that focus on business, design, film & television, retail, music and more.
